The Florida Panthers are Stanley Cup champions for the second year in a row. Their playoff run saw wins over Tampa Bay, Toronto, Carolina, and a Finals rematch against Edmonton.
The Florida Panthers have officially cemented their place in NHL history, capturing the Stanley Cup for the second consecutive year after a thrilling playoff run that tested every ounce of their grit, depth, and determination.
Their path to glory began with a dominant first-round performance, where they dispatched in-state rivals Tampa Bay Lightning in just 5 games. Florida’s speed and physicality overwhelmed Tampa early, setting the tone for the postseason.

In the second round, the Panthers faced a much tougher challenge against a determined Toronto Maple Leafs squad. The series went the full distance — seven intense games — but Florida emerged victorious 4-3, led by clutch performances from their top line and timely goaltending.

The Eastern Conference Final saw them square off against the Carolina Hurricanes, a rematch of last year’s sweep. This time, Carolina pushed back harder, but Florida’s relentless forecheck and playoff experience carried them to another series win and a return to the Cup Final.
Waiting for them: the Edmonton Oilers, just like last year. And just like last year, the Panthers rose to the occasion, shutting down Connor McDavid and Leon Draisaitl with a punishing defensive effort and riding the stellar goaltending of Sergei Bobrovsky. In the end, Florida hoisted the Cup once again, proving that last year was no fluke — this team is built for greatness.
