The CCM JetSpeed FT485 Skates are going to be incredibly hard to beat at this price in terms of fit, performance, durability and comfort. The RocketFrame Composite One-Piece boot is a huge factor because it simply makes players faster and more comfortable compared to the two-piece competition since it's lighter, better at transferring energy and better wrap around the foot. 

On top of the one-piece design, the boot also comes with upgraded comfort edge collar padding, a reinforced tendon guard and low-profile eyelets that further raise the bar. Internally, the FT485 boasts a pro-inspired TotalDri Liner and ADPT Memory Foam Ankle Pads that don't just look, fit and feel great; but they were built to last too. 

Much like the quick-release XS holder and XS1 runners, CCM incorporated the XS replaceable tongue system in this year's JetSpeed Line. The FT485 will come with a reinforced pro felt tongue but if a player is looking to further adjust the internal volume of their skate, to add protection or even to shed weight; the XS Replacement Tongues have a perfect solution.
